I love this book.. This book spends virtually no time on stepping you through the Windows software to set up the SOHO network. It seems that the past that Usui and his mother have been fleeing is catching up to them. Excellent account of Kershaw's Brigade's service in both the Army of Northern Virginia and the Army of Tennessee. The type face selection is excellent. That story was for older readers, and certainly not for everyone, though I did enjoy it quite a bit.
The Year of the Shadows has a much broader readership available to it than Cavendish does. The author has developed the characters and the world, with subplots deftly woven into the main storyline.
There is humor, fellowship, looming danger, dungeons, quests, riddles, small and grand strategies, city building, a sprawling map filled with possibilities, all great things that make this a captivating, ongoing adventure. I'm not great at reviews but I just had to give this one a 5 star rating & say how much
