Moses created a superstition. That superstition was God, a god like no other, with the most significant ramifications that the world has ever known. This book illustrates how and why Moses created his god and thence shows how Jesus and Mohammed enhanced and exploited this god. Through this god these three prophets and subsequent leaders enriched themselves and their institutions at the expense of both their followers and those that they conquered, causing millions to suffer and die. Through this god the prophets and subsequent leaders instigated irrational intolerance, loathing and hate of those who did not acquiesce to their dictates. They inculcated in their followers the idea that they could torture, maim and murder in the name of their god for militaristic and ultimately financial gain. Yet this god - as well as angels, devils ghosts, fictitious characters and the fictitious places, heaven and hell - was no more than mere superstitious fantasy.
