Dr. Harold Fletcher, for more than 40 years, practiced medicine as an obstetrician-gynecologist in California; he also taught medicine at UCLA. He was on-call for motion picture studios and had numerous well-known movie personalities as patients. Earlier, in the Air Force at Randolph Air Force Base, he served as chief of the OB-GYN department, treating servicewomen and wives of servicemen. In 1947, when the ship Grandcamp exploded in Texas City, he was one of the physicians called on to treat 5,000 wounded and to help families identify what was left of 600 dead.
As a history major, this is really one of the better books I've read. Well, I think my title all says it. The entire family couldn't wait to find out how many ducks Marigold would have next or where she would make her nest. Tomboy is beautiful, scary, dangerous, and stays with you long after you read it. Redefining the function of mutiny is not a big concern in my field. Whether she means the girl or himself she doesn’t say. Overall it was a helpful book.. Sometimes you’ll see a romance of this type listed as FMMM or MFMM, or even MFMFMMM or some such. Historically they come from Victorian times to about the mid-sixties.
