Wilhelm Reich could not have written a more complete autobiography on his own life and probably no one could. For anyone faced with the problems associated with trauma, this book has excellent ideas. Author James Martin has unearthed new details under the Freedom of Information Act, together with his own exhaustive research, which bears out his premise that it was not the invalidity of Reich's ideas but the nature of his theories that the fascists of Nazism and Communism recognized as threatening to their power to control through the repression of sexual and emotional freedom.
