William N. Bender, PhD, is an international leader in instructional tactics with an emphasis on differentiated instruction, response to intervention, brain-compatible instruction, and classroom discipline. William earned his doctorate in special education from the University of North Carolina. He has taught at Rutgers University in New Jersey and Bluefield State College in West Virginia. Most recently he served as a professor of education at the University of Georgia.
