I do believe in past lives, however, I know that the information I have received about them is often incomplete, fuzzy, and largely is a transmission of disconnected images and feelings. It is a detailed and orderly presentation of what the author thinks is important, but that does not include any context, motivation, relations to other math, or applications. I enjoyed this collection from these four photographers I didn't know before, and this was a welcome introduction to their work. public education, a lack of good/inspiring math teachers, and partly due to a lack of motivation in students.
